The film "Rise of Madafangwara" is set in an elite school of an imagined nation called Nuidhrastra, where children are taught a certain ideologically motivated historical narrative steeped in myths, political misinformation, sectarian politics, and extremist propaganda churned by the ruling party—a phenomenon that has parallels with the current educational policies in India, where multiple and alternative perspectives are erased to uphold a glorified notion of our society. This animated exploration delves into the repercussions of hero worship within the realm of politics and inquires how the idolization of political figures can shape our education and culture, thus exerting a significant influence on societ.

This is our first ever full-fledged graphical narrative on 'Bede' or the water gypsies of Bangladesh. I felt the urgency of this specific topic because there is no other comic art that covers the whimsical, fantastic and tragic world of this river tribes, their lifestyle, rituals and behaviours. And definitely boats: I have tried to emphasize the water, waves which are 'sublimified' by the vast 'Red' and a titanic sea monster.
